Will Horowitz of Ducks Eatery and Aleksey Kanevsky of Smoke BBQ

On June 7th, during the international gastronomic festival St. Petersburg Gourmet Days, the restaurant Smoke BBQ will host a dinner with an American accent! Chef Will Horowitz will arrive right from New York to share the traditional cuisine of his country with St Petersburg citizens.

Will Horowitz is a writer, chef, and owner of the famous New York Ducks Eatery, Harry & Ida’s Meat and Supply co., and Luncheonette. His culinary education originates from both of his sides of his family tree: one of his ancestors was a French chef who cooked seasonal dishes in a fisherman’s village Orient in Long Island; another owned a traditional Jewish restaurant in Harlem. Will is specialized at learning about traditional culinary ingredients and their usage in everyday cuisine.

The dinner in Smoke BBQ will be cooked by Will and chef Aleksey Kanevsky. The chefs will complement traditional American barbecue with cosmopolitan dishes of New York City.

Chef’s dishes are offered with a pairing by 12 year old Scottish single-malt whisky, The Singleton.

The events starts at 7:30 p.m.

The price of the tasting: 3 900 roubles.
